About the event

We are travelers and wind chasers... 1 spot is never enough for us, we like to experience different vibes and kitesurf spots.

During the summer season in Mauritius, it is the opportunity for us to have a break from Anse la Raie and Le Morne kite spots to discover the world.

Lifestyle Kite trip : Karibu in Zanzibar!

Jambo!  Does it sounds familiar to you? If it doesn't... seems you have an opportunity to discover a new place : Paje

We hope that you are ready for one of the most exotic island on the Eastern Coast of Africa.

An amazing place where temperatures are warm & water is crystal clear in its huge lagoon.

Zanzibar is one of the perfect get away island offering epic flatwater spots, beautiful white sandy beaches where the rhythm of life is always dictated by Hakunas Matatas (no problem in Swahili) and Poles Poles (take it slow)

It has been more or less the same since over the past fifty years.

Average high temperature is 32ºC , with things cooling to a pleasant 24ºC at night. The sea temperature varies between 26 to 29ºC. PARADISE!

Wind stats…

The windy seasons in Zanzibar are between mid December till mid March (summer - North East wind) & June to mid of October (winter - South East wind) so more or less side or side on shore.

The average wind speed is around 15 knots, usually increasing towards the end of the day in the late afternoon and early evening. The most commonly used kite sizes are 15, 12, 10 sqm, with some occasional 7-9 sqm kiting, depending on your body weight and the wind speed.

What to expect from this trip...

we have the desire to spend with you some awesome holidays & make kitesurfing accessible for both beginners and experienced kitesurfers.

Spot...

  • Twintip friendly
  • Surf friendly
  • Foil friendly
  • Downwinder friendly

The spot of Paje offers riding conditions for people who want to learn and progress. The shore is surrounded by the reef which offers possibilities to ride waves.

Also the tides in Zanzibar are pretty "extreme":

Super low tide - Shallow / flat water, perfect for beginners and freestyle riders.

Super high tide - Great for foiling
